CARDIFF - Fri. February 22nd 2013

There were two arrivals on 20th - Maimiti came in from Mardas (Turkey), she discharged her cargo at the Seawood shed and sailed for Rotterdam on 22nd.  Peter Dohles Celina was another arrival from Ijmuiden with steel for Ryans Wharf.  She sailed on 23rd bound for Blaye (near Bordeaux).
On 21st - the tanker Bro Deliverer arrived from Milford Haven with oil products for the Valero Terminal.  She returned to MH later the same day.
On 22nd there were two arrivals - regular visitor, container ship Charlotte Borchard from Leixoes.  She sailed for Liverpool on 23rd.

Peter Dohles recently (and easily) renamed Catalina D (ex Catalina '11)  Photographed discharging the cargo of steel that she had brought from Ijmuiden.  She sailed on 24th, heading for Blue Anchor Bay to await orders.

Another of Carisbrooke Shipping vessels to arrived from Ijmuiden with steel for Ryans Wharf.  She sailed on 21st, heading for the Isle of Wight to await orders.

CARDIFF - Mon February 18th 2013

Two arrivals on 16th - the tanker Bro Distributor came in from Milford Haven, she part discharged at the Valero Terminal then moved to the Number 1 Oil Terminal to complete discharge.  She returned to MH later the same day. Kapitan Kozhevnikov arrived from Vilanova with a cargo of timber for the Seawood Shed, she sailed for Warrenpoint on 19th - I missed the arrival and departure, so no picture.

Three arrivals today - the tanker Bro Developer came in from Milford Haven with oil products for the Valero Terminal, she returned to MH on 15th.  Container ship Rachel Borchard arrived from Leixoes, she  too sailed on 15th, for Liverpool.

Arrived from Milford Haven with oil products for the No 1 Oil Terminal.  Photographed as she sailed on 14th, initially bound for St Brides Bay to await orders, where she stayed for a few days before proceeding to Rotterdam.

One of a number of ships currently arriving from Ijmuiden with steel for the Ryans Wharf.  In the photo, she had just been 'walked' down the quay to H Shed to allow another ship onto Ryans Wharf.  She sailed a couple of hours later on 14th bound for Tau (Norway).

CARDIFF - Mon February 11th 2013

There were 3 arrivals on 8th - Union Emerald from Halstad she (part?) discharge at H Shed and sailed for Chatham on 9th. Container ship Charlotte Borchard from Leixoes, she sailed for Liverpool later the same day. And the tanker Bro Galaxy with oil products from Milford Haven, she returned there on 9th.
Two arrivals on 9th - Frisian Ocean was back again from Ijmuiden with another cargo of steel for Ryans Wharf.  She sailed on 10th, bound for Murmansk.  Also arriving from Ijmuiden with another cargo of steel for Ryans Wharf was Ardita .  She had to  berth on the Pontoon Wharf until Frisian Ocean had completed her discharge.  She sailed on 13th, bound for Immingham.
On 10th Sarma 1 arrived from Riga with packaged timber for the H Shed.  She sailed on 13th and headed for the shelter of Blue Anchor Bay to await orders.  She left the anchorage on 18th, bound for La Coruna.

Arrived in ballast from Liverpool.  She is loading a cargo of bagged dry bulk materials (I do not know what exactly).  She is due to sail on 15th, bound for Porto Vesme.  UPDATE another picture added below -

Arrived from Belfast.  Looked to be loading steel/wire products at the Number 1 Berth.  She sailed on 9th, bound for Mostaganem (Algeria).  I missed her arrival and departure, so only this 'long shot' of her.  UPDATE:  Flinter Rose returned to Cardiff on 2nd December 2014 - another picture added below -

CARDIFF - Tues February 5th 2013

On the 4th, the dredger UKD Orca arrived from Portbury.  She stayed in dock until the 6th, then went out to carry out dredging of the main entrance channel to Cardiff docks.  She left the area on 8th, sailing for Garston.

Lyrika had arrived from Rota (Turkey).  Having unloaded, she sailed for Dieppe on 11th.
Again, I missed her arrival and departure and only have this 'long shot' of her alongside D Shed in the Queen Alexandra Dock.

CARDIFF - Fri February 1st 2013

26th saw the arrival of the tanker Bro Developer from Milford Haven, with oil products for the Valero Terminal.  She returned to Milford the next day.
On  the 28th, the container ship Charlotte Borchard arrived from Dublin, she sailed for Leixoes later the same day.
On 29th Peter Dohles Centa arrived from Ijmuiden with a cargo of steel for Ryans Wharf, she sailed for Newport on 31st.
Two arrivals on 30th, Frisian Ocean returned from Ijmuiden with another cargo of steel for the H Shed, she is due to sail on 2nd.  The dredger Sospan Dau docked for a short break from her dredging duties, sailing on the next tide to carry on her work.  On the 1st Feb she departed the area, bound for Newhaven.
On 31st, the container ship Joanna Borchard arrived from Leixoes.  She sailed for Liverpool on 1st.
The 1st Feb. saw two arrivals - the tanker Bro Deliverer came in from Milford Haven with oil products for the Valero Terminal.
