Three arrivals on 1st September - the coaster Jan/v arrived light from Bideford, loaded in the Queen Alexandra Dock and sailed for Belfast on 2nd. Catalina arrived light from Rotterdam and loaded either steel products or scrap and is due to sail for Turkey on 3rd. Regular container ship Rachel Borchard came in from Leixoes and sailed for Liverpool on 2nd.

Pictured in the Bristol Channel, approaching Cardiff , Norderau is bringing a cargo of scrap metals from Kings Lynn to be discharged on Ryans Wharf in the Roath Dock.
