CARDIFF - Tues 28th Feb 2012

Not a lot of movements since the last post - on 20th tanker Bro Galaxy arrived from Milford Haven and sailed back there on 21st.  The following day (22nd) Bro Distributor also arrived from Milford Haven, returning there on 23rd.  On 24th the tug Trueman sailed to Newport to assist with a berthing at Usk Birdport.
On 25th another of SMS Towage tugs - Roman (see below) arrived from Hull - making 3 now based here.

Seen arriving from Cork with a cargo of scrap metals to be discharged on Ryans Wharf in the Roath Dock.  She sailed 'light' for Avonmouth on 1st March.

Seen departing Cardiff, two of SMS Towage tugs.  They were taking a quick trip to check out Barry and then returned to Cardiff a few hours later. Both tugs seem to be recent purchases for their new Bristol Channel base - they're not yet listed on the SMS towage web site.  Both tugs were until recently German flagged - Nobleman was ex Rotesand and Roman was ex Brake
