Ex Swansea Pilot Vessel
Seamark (under tow from UKD Sealion) leaves Cardiff bound for her home port of Swansea. She was withdrawn from service in 2001 and had been in the Roath Basin for about ten years, for the first six or seven of those she had been the headquarters of the Cardiff Sea Scouts.
Last year she was up for sale, and was reported to have been bought for conversion to a liveaboard to be moored on the Thames. I now read on the internet that she is being taken to Swansea where a group has been formed to preserve and get her back into full working order, and possibly running trips out of Swansea.
